Greetings. I am Philip Mullins, an Emerging Technology Consultant. My background is diverse. I served in the United States Air Force as a Ground Radio and Combat Radio Technician. I then transitioned to Motorola, where I served as a Senior Technical Designer for Digital Mobile Radio and Cellular Technologies. Later, I specialized in Wireless and Pervasive Computing, Cloud Computing, and Artificial Intelligence at IBM, where I was a Competency Principal and later a Senior Executive Consultant for Wireless and Pervasive Technologies. I finished my IBM Career as a Principal Technology Leader (Field CTO) for two strategic accounts in the Utility Industry.

Today, I leverage my extensive background to help companies and students, educators, and administrators in Richmond, Texas, and beyond, understand and harness the power of emerging technologies. As a former IBM executive consultant, inventor, tiger team member, and recognized wild duck, I have extensive experience in advanced technologies and innovation. These experiences and the tools and methodologies that supported them are the foundation of Strategy Worxs LLC.

I’m passionate about helping people understand new technologies and how they can affect the world around us. I think it’s even more important to help companies figure out who they are, what they want to be, and whether technology is a useful tool for getting them there.

My previous roles have equipped me to guide clients through a process of understanding emerging technologies, the specific business context they fit with, and tools and techniques to unlock institutional innovation. This journey builds team culture and inspires innovative thinking and actions.
